Make a Switch

Make a Switch

Make a SwitchIf we are to follow the path of success we’re going to have to make a switch from old ways of thinking into the new.  There have been many amazing discoveries that Science has brought to the forefront over the last 2-3 decades. One of them comes in the form of our thinking.  According to Dr. Caroline Leaf, author of Switch On Your Brian,  just a couple of decades (or so) ago Scientists were firm on believing that our brain was hardwired, and no matter how hard you tried you were more than likely to always be controlled by the genetic make up of the brain.

Scientists are now discovering that the qualify of our thoughts, choices, and reactions, play a big role in how our brains and our health function.  With many believing that the brain is a main part of the system, with the mind being the control panel.

Dr. Leaf states in this book that,

“We are not bound by the physical. We control the physical.”

Hope abounds in these thoughts from previous studies in that the hard-wiring which we formerly believed about our brains can be changed, along with our health and spirit, when we began to think better and react better to the challenges that life brings our way.

We are thinking beings and she backs it up also with scripture from the Bible.

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” ~ Proverbs 23:7

So as our thinking develops and rises, so also will our health and wellness.  Many  “thought” aficionados have backed up this claim as well.  When we raise our thoughts to a higher level, we will also be lifted up.

I’m only in the beginning chapters of this book, and I think I’m going to take it slow and do some deep-sea diving.  It would be behoove us all to ponder, contemplate, and seriously study this line of thinking to improve our overall lives.  This book is one that I would definitely recommend.

I encourage your to pick this book up if your are ready to Make a Switch in your life!

    1. Hi Monna, thanks for commenting. I think so many of us get trapped in the thinking of yesterday and sometimes…those bad habits are hard to break… We just have to keep working at it until it sinks in. Thanks again.
