Sowing the Seeds of Possibilty

by BG Jenkins

The path to making our dreams come true begins with sowing the seeds of possibility.

If you have a dream, a big dream, you first must believe that it’s possible to become a reality, or the dream fades. Do you have a dream, a vision, or a large hope, that keeps haunting you?  Is it a dream that no matter what else happens you always keep coming back to it?

If your answer is “yes,” then you must keep sowing the seeds of possibility for your dream.

Have you ever noticed how a child has so much hope, so much expectation, regarding almost everything?  When it comes to our dreams we must use that same hope, and expectation, when sowing the seeds of possibility.

Do you believe in your dream?  Are you preparing the soil? Are you watering daily? Are you nurturing your seeds of possibility? And are you doing the necessary weeding?

Preparing the soil

In business, preparing the soil would be writing down your goals, making your plans, and dreaming your dreams.  You must write a comprehensive business plan.  This includes your strategies for running your business, a budget for expenses, and your product plan.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Is this product a viable solution for your target market?
  • Is this price in accordance with the value of the product?
  • Do you have a solution in place for returns or product snags?

Prepare with excellence.

Watering Daily

Give your business the necessary time and attention it needs for success.  Work diligently.  Believe in what you are trying to accomplish.  Mastermind with other business owners to determine what they are implementing for sowing the seeds of possibility.  Water with enthusiasm.

Nurturing Your Seeds

Have the necessary tools in place that will help you move your business forward. When first starting out, we are conscious of expenses, and we should be, but we also must make sure that we have the appropriate tools in place to make our business efficient, and profitable. Invest in tools that will cover all realms of possibility.  We need an edge that will draw those potential clients in…that “wow” factor. It could be something that is not costly at all, like great customer service, or some other form of value that would be in great demand.  Nurture with love.

Necessary Weeding

Get rid of you plans and strategies that aren’t working.  Go over your tactics daily and see what is bringing the most benefit, and go with that.  That doesn’t mean that the things you weed out today can’t be used in the future, but for now if it isn’t working…do the necessary weeding.

We are all on that path to making dreams come true.

We all have those dreams that keep haunting us.  We must believe that they are our gifts, our call, to serve our families and communities.  If you are developing that dream that keeps calling to you, don’t give up!

Dont give up on your dream, and on sowing the seeds of possibility.
