There are those things in life that stop us from progressing because of what we say to ourselves, and we need to be getting rid of idiot-syncrasies.

Yep, there it is.

Here’s my definition:

Idiot-Syncrasies

Those beliefs, practices and/or mannerisms that you’ve adopted which bring you harm….

In life we all make mistakes.  Some of the biggest mistakes are those things that we tell ourselves or argue for.  There is a point in our lives where we need to take control and create the life that we want.

In owning this, realization will bring us to getting rid of idiot-syncracies so that we can follow our paths to success.

  1. hi BG
thanks for such a creative idea – idiosyncrasies are not necessarily wrong – that make us who we are. But I love your newly minted word – idiot-syncracies, because it names those practices that do not serve us. And perhaps, aligns us to other idiots?

    1. Hi Susan…no, they don’t align us to other idiots…but to idiotic practices that don’t serve us. Yes, it’s many times are flaws that are what give us our uniqueness, or what connect us to others. Thanks so much for commenting. I truly appreciate it.
