Patriot Guard Riders

Patriot Guard Riders

If you’ve ever wanted to belong to a noble cause, you won’t find one more worthy than the Patriot Guard Riders.

These men, and women, give of their time to make sure that those who are fighting for our freedoms are recognized and uplifted.

The men and women of the Patriot Guard Riders make it their daily mission to welcome home, or send off to war, those who are serving our country.

The also lend support to family members who have lost loved ones due to the casualties of war.

My brother belongs to the Arizona Chapter of the Patriot Guard Riders, and within their chapter, they are working with other agencies to make sure returning soldiers are amply supported in re-establishing their lives, in sometimes dire circumstances.  Along with outside agencies, these local Arizona members have gathered items from household goods and appliances, to finding, and supplying more extensive support when needed.

The amazing thing about this Arizona chapter is that the local community and members have opened their hearts so much, and so often, that they don’t always have a place to store the collected items.  Now, I would say, that’s a good problem to have.

So, I would encourage you to open your hearts, and give of your time, to the Patriot Guard Riders.

If would you like to find out more about how the Patriot Guard Riders are there to lend a hand, you may call you local chapter.  For information on the Arizona Chapter… please call:

The PGR

Honor Tributes;
A motorcade.
Our country’s flags
In breezes wave.

Soldiers return;
Some deployed far.
Tributes revealed
By PGR.

Sorrow or joy,

Though words be few,
They’ve come to do
What they must do.

To recognize
The brave or slain;
For lifting up
All heroes’ names.

A shoulder clapped;
A shaken hand-
This honor guard
Will take a stand

For soldiers near,
Or off to war.
Servants at heart-
The PGR.
