This is my first edition of Nonnie’s Sense, and many may wonder who is Nonnie? You may know me as BG, or Brenda…but to my grandchildren, I’m Nonnie.
I do not like having my picture posted all over the internet, but this is my way of putting myself out there to prove a point. We are all works in progress, and in network marketing, overcoming fear is at the top of the list for some of us.

Nonnie’s Sens-ible Plan
Put yourself out there.
Take a leap of faith, and make sense of some of the nonsense. If you aren’t willing to put yourself out there, then how will you connect with others, find mentors, and/or partners?
Make a plan.
If you’ve dreamed of working from home, is your plan made? Are your hours set? Is your schedule in tact? What kind of service will you provide for your customer? Be very specific, look at every angle, get a consultant, or book on business planning. Set your goals, and work them out.
Find a mentor.
Finding a mentor is another essential piece to your business. Though, there are many out there with good intentions…there are others without them. Let someone guide you through the nonsense.
As much as we would love to, we can’t buy, and go through every program out there. First steps first. Do your research, choose your company, and take your time to choose well. Many of us have jumped in and out of this company, and that program, to find that sticking with one solid one works best.
Personal development is necessary. Keep abreast of new products, techniques, and great books.
- Why am I doing this?
- What will I gain from it?
- Will I dedicate myself to the tasks at hand, and persevere the storms?
- What am I willing to give up to make this work?
- Do I have a clear vision of the end in mind?
- How will I solve the problems of my customer?
- Can I put myself aside, and focus on their needs?
There is so much to learn, and you can’t absorb it all at once, so choose one to master and work from there.
