Hitch To Your Niche

New to internet marketing and need a place to hitch your wagon? Hitch to your niche!

There are so many things going on in internet marketing that many are overwhelmed and don’t know which way to turn when trying to learn how to make money online. The first thing you have to figure out is what you’re passionate about. Where do you want this to go, and how much time do you have to devote to it? After you’ve decided what you can’t live without doing, then hitch to your niche.

What does this mean? Search for the experts in your desired area. If you’re wanting to blog about health and fitness, then go to google and see who the leaders are on the page when you type in your search for health and fitness (or your related field). Follow them on twitter, and locate them on Facebook. Learn what you can from these experts then…hitch to your niche. Study successful people in this area.

Read articles. Go to your local gym, sporting goods store, or health food store (depending on your niche) and ask questions. Find out how online experts have created their success. Start a blog. Become the “Ultimate Apprentice.” Find mentors. Write out your goals. Opt in on some of the marketing strategies that offer free webinars. Download free e-books. Do a survey of your target audience to see how necessary your product is, if they would purchase it and at what cost. Network with others to see what can be learned. People usually are willing to help if you show you a sincere interest in something that they love. It’s like rubbing two sticks together to create a spark. Be genuine, work hard, and do what you absolutely love.

All of this may sound simplistic, but remember the phrase, “Keep It Simple, Sweetie.” If you really love what you’re doing, then most of the time the learning curve won’t be as much of a chore. Learn the basics, and then gradually grow your niche from there. Be attentive to other entrepreneurs. Absorb all the information your can. Analyze and readjust as needed.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, and don’t expect that your livelihood will be either. There may be rainy days, so bring an umbrella. Don’t give up and don’t give in.

Tie your knot tight when you hitch to your niche; you don’t want your wagon and horses running loose.
